About our Domestic Wood Screws

Our wood screws which are stated as domestic are made from alloy 651 Silicon Bronze, and made to ANSI/ASME B18.6.1. Even though this standard allows for a rolled thread, and full or undersized body, we know from the many years of our marine experience, that silicon bronze wood screws, which have a full body and cut threads are the only acceptable method of manfacturing.

Our Stainless Steel Deck Screws are Type 316 stainless which provides excellent corrosion resistance when exposed to the weather.

We have seen disclaimers and footnotes on how to install a screws. We say "drill your pilot hole, countersink and install your fastener".
